Aircraft Brakes:
The CirCal pressure plate
design enables multiple rotor & stator "heat stack" brakes
with fewer actuators (hydraulic or electric), less weight,
reduced complexity and lower system cost.

Lighter, simpler, more
fail-safe pressure plate mechanism, fewer actuators and
wear adjusters, reduced manufacturing and maintenance
costs.

Actuators are isolated
from direct heat and may be separate from the pressure
plate for reduced manufacturing, replacement and
maintenance costs.
-
The CirCal pressure plate
system is suitable for retrofit conversion, and is
compatible with existing torque tube, heat stack and
wheel designs.
